Ribs of adjacent Lok Seam panels snap together, enclosing the concealed clips and provide a positive metal- to-metal lock, In turn, the enclosed clips positivley secure the adjacent panels to the roof structure. Seams require no machine closing, yet are continuously and securely locked in place. By eliminating the need for mechanical seaming, installation time and cost can be greatly reduced. Also available in 1-1/2" rib height (US-150ls)

RETROFIT SYSTEMS

In recent years, a new metal re-roofing concept has been developed to retrofit existing flat roofs to eliminate leaks. With this new system, typical metal roof benefits of classic neat appearance, wide color choice, lightweight and long lasting leak-free service life has become a "fountain of youth" for many older buldings.

The concept consists of an Ultra Seam metal roofing system supported on an engineered metal framing system, which also creates the desired slope. Low cost adddition of insulation is optional. Due to the systems's extremely light weight, the new assembley can usually be installed right over the existing roofing without tear-off. Introduction of slope to the flat roof allows re-routing of drainage to eliminate troublesome internal drains.

The Ultra Seam Flush Panel system is ideal for gable walls and soffits where a smooth flat surface is desired. Horizontal flanges of 1-1/8" or 1-1/2” seams interlock and provide attachment surfaces for concealed fasteners. The panel seam combined with attachment flanges strengthens the panel to provide good spanning capacity. Fewer supporting structural members needed for high gables and wider soffits means lower installation cost. Available in twelve inch and sixteen inch widths.
