Metal Roofin Profile US-175LS

Metal Roofin Profile US-175LS
Ribs of adjacent Lok Seam panels snap together, enclosing the concealed clips and provide a positive metal-to-metal lock. In turn, the enclosed clips positively secure the adjacent panels to the roof structure. Seams require no machine closing, yet are continuously and securely locked in place. By eliminating the need for mechanical seaming, installation time and cost can be greatly reduced. Also available in 1-1/2" rib height (US-150LS). The US-150LS has a slightly different locking detail from the US-175.http://www.ultraseam.com

Standing Seam Metal RoofsMetal Roofing Profiles US-200Profiles US-200 Standing Seam Panel The Ultra Seam standing seam system utilizes state of the art technology for roof integrity and positive weather-tightness. The Ultra Seam US-200 panel has been extensively tested in both steel and aluminum, and meets the stringent requirements of the “Standard Test Method for Structural Performance of SSMRS by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference,” which has been adopted as ASTM E-1592. Seams require machine closing, by either hand or power seamers, both available on a job rental basis. The seaming process completely encloses and seals all clips and fasteners for the most watertight seal available. The US-200 panel, in addition to the standard 90-degree seam, can be double-locked to obtain a 180 degree architectural profile. The standing seam system is especially suitable where roof slopes are long and/or low, and unusually long panels are required. Available in various gauges of galvanized steel, galvalume, zincalume, aluminum, copper, zinc and stainless steel. Regardless of which material is selected, the optional stiffening ribs or striations are highly recommended in order to reduce the slight surface waviness of the metal known as “oil-canning.” Note: “oil-canning” is a natural phenomenon inherent in sheet metal products and therefore is not cause for rejection of the material.http://www.ultraseam.com

After a panel is laid, the clips are installed up against the panel leg, with half of each clip folded over the leg. The adjacent panel is then laid up against the clips, and the other half of each clip is folded down. Finally the batten cap is snapped down over all clips in the seam along the entire length of the panel. The panels are now securely attached with the completed seam enclosing all clips. Seams require no machine closing and rapid installation means low in-place cost. Also available in 1-1/2" rib height (US-150CS). Cap Seam panel can also be curved or tapered. These panels create an architecturally desirable look without jeopardizing the integrity of the roof panel. The installation of the curved cap seam panel (US-100 CCS) and the tapered cap seam panel (US-100 TCS) is the same as the straight cap seam panel (US-100 CS).
